IN reply to your letter of the 24th instant, I am directed by Mr. Secretary McKenna to say, for the information of Secretary Sir Edward Grey, that he has appointed Mr. Malcolm Delevingne, C.B., to represent the Home Office on the interdepartmental committee for considering measures to give effect to the International Opium Convention.

Mr. Delevingne will attend the first meeting of the committee at the Foreign Office on Tuesday, the 3rd March, at 11:30 A.M.
